Afropop sensation, Tems finally released her debut studio project tagged “For Broken Ears EP” in 2020.

Tems is an R&B singer and songwriter who rose to the limelight in 2018 after the release of her hit single, “Mr Rebel”. She has since then topped charts, worked with many superstars and now stands as one of the best musical performers in Nigeria.

For Broken Ears is the debut extended play by Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer, Tems. It was produced primarily by Tems, alongaide Spax, Omeiza and Odido, and was released on 25 September 2020 by Leading Vibes Limited. The extended playlist houses 7 solid tracks including her hit singles “Damages” and “Try Me”. This outstanding no feature body of work is refreshing and energizing, as it shows the talented singer’s versatility and powerful vocal prowess.

For Broken Ears received generally positive reviews from music critics. Some praised the EP, calling it an “R&B record, with swirly synths and airy harmonies”, while some referred to it as interesting and complex.
